Route 66 and Polar Express
A little shopping and food before the Polar Express
This is the best picture out of the group and it is scary.
Andrew loved looking out the window.
Of course there was hot chocolate and cookies.
This is the North Pole. Daniel didn't believe we teleported through the tunnel. He said they just looked like Christmas lights. He may be a little too old next year.
Loved the big book but we followed along with our own book.
Sing loud and proud so Santa will come.
There he is.
Mrs. Claus. She did not age as gracefully as Santa.
Mom is shopping again. Boys keeping busy.

Boys pool time while the girls went shopping. Daniel had been begging to go swimming since we got there. It wasn't too warm but the pool was slightly heated.

What's Thanksgiving without Thanksgiving dinner.

Happy Thanksgiving
Grand Canyon
Daniel was interested in what wildlife lived there.
Apparently holding the rock in his hands was not close enough to see what he wanted to see. He needed his binoculars.
It was so pretty there. Just like looking at a picture.
One of my favorite pictures.
Wildlife!!!!!!
Thank goodness for the bus.
Daniel was excited to sit on the edge. The other two were back bit with Nana.
I loved the different colors in the sunset depending on the direction you were looking.

Out of Africa
Gramps is brave. A little too close for my comfort.
While the snake show was going on Andrew had more fun playing.

Gramps took the boys out in a jeep. Off roading.

Daniels class was putting on a couple of skits for the parents. Daniel did a wonderful job.
Daniel could not get out of this costume fast enough.

This kid has no fear. Because the big boys can do it, Andrew thinks he can too.

Family Home Evening
We are not great at having FHE but with the Phoenix Temple Open house we decided to have it on temples. We built our own temple out of Legos. To me it looks a little like the San Diego Temple. Justin was a little concerned that there were no doors. I told them that the people entered though the roof where the hole was. He thought that was a great idea. Daniel had to add a place for the cars to get gas.
