07 22 2011 Random

So poor Justin has had a diaper rash all week. So in attempt to help to get rid of it I have let him run around with no diaper. I was outside mowing the lawn and the door to inside the house was open. I ran inside with fears of a little boy running around naked in the house to kick him back outside. But we could not find him. Daniel had found Justin up on the hill. I couldn't imagine it felling good climbing up the hill naked but he was pretty proud of himself.

Justin has learn how to slide down the slide. It took him about 5min to figure out how to control it. I loved how he laughed after sliding.

We love Frisbee golf. We are starting Justin early. Daniel also is working on master his throwing. The frisbee hit me in the head.

The boys love fresh fruit.

Justin loves to be thrown around, tickled and wrestling.

Daniel's big thing right now is bugs. Yay (with a sarcastic sound). We got him a bug catcher and he loves it.

07 18 2011 Justin's Rocking Chair

Dennis' mom on the grandkids first birthday paint them a rocking chair. With Daniel we requested a baseball theme. For Justin we requested basketball. It turned out great!! Justin love its. Thanks you so much!!

07 15 2011 Backyard Camping

One day we will make it out to go REAL camping. But for now we camp in the backyard and that make Daniel happy. No, Justin did not sleep out with us.

Dennis couldn't believe I was taking a picture of him.

We had invited one of Daniel's favorite cousins over to camp with us.

Why am I roasting a hotdog when I don't eat them? I must really love Daniel.

Camping is not camping with out S'mores. Delicious!!

Poor Justin only got a grahm cracker instead of the whole s'more.These boys did not go to sleep until 9:30pm when Dennis and I decided to go to bed. When we joined them they were out within 5mins.

07 12 2011 Micke Grove Zoo

This tiny zoo has nothing on the San Diego Zoo but it is still fun to visit. We started off with feeding the birds. Daniel had a cup with a little bit of nector in it and tossed it as soon as a bird came close. The birds liked Nana's hat.

Justin's favorite part of the zoo were all the benches.

I had to chase Justin down because he took off to climb a bench.

Tyler is so good with Daniel. Daniel just follows Tyler around and wants to do everything Tyler does.

Yes, Justin took off to ANOTHER bench.

Then off to the park for a picnic.

Tyler thought he was pretty funny hiding on top of the slide.

07 04 2011

We had a wonderful July 4th. Our day started out with a pancake breakfast. We had my nephew over for a few hours. Then Daniel went over to Uncle Brian and Auntie Julia's house for a nice swim. They said he didn't stop swimming until they brought him back. 3-4hrs in the pool leads to a very tired boy. But he did learn how to pee on the fence.
Meanwhile it was nice and quiet at home. We had a nice BBQ and then Justin finally crashed. Yes, we did firecrakers around 8pm and it was still light out. We needed to get these boys to bed.
Daniel wanted to know why they were not in the sky. But his favorite was the strobe light ones that Uncle Brian gave him.

Justin loved them.

Daniel loved the sparklers. So tired Right after we put Daniel to bed we started see a few fireworks through the trees. So of course, we got Daniel out of bed. He was pretty happy to see the fireworks in the sky.
