10 30 2009 Carving the Pumpkins

So we got home from the pumpkin patch, ate dinner
then started carving. Daniel was OK cleaning the
pumpkin as long as you were doing it as well. I don't
think he was a huge fan. But when Dennis pulled out
our battery operated cutter Daniel wanted a turn.
He tried to get his hands on in the rest of the night.

I tried to get Daniel to do all the work so I
didn't have to. It didn't work.

While we carved our pumpkins, we had Daniel color
his. He really enjoyed it but he still wanted to
cut the pumpkin.
The finished product.

10 30 2009 Pumpkin Patch

Talk about last minute. Off to the pumpkin patch.
When I found this place online it said working farm.
This was not a working farm. But it was fun. Daniel
enjoyed himself.
He loved the hay maze.

Dennis didn't know what was on the front and
I wouldn't tell him.

Daniel was not a real fan of the slimy lama mouth.

Dennis tried. Daniel copied.
I don't know why he wanted to ride the pumpkin.
He also thinks he is suppose to throw the pumpkins.
We only bought 1 and then headed to the
store for cheaper pumpkins.

10 24 2009 Steven Cable's Wedding

So Steven and Holly got married at the
LA Temple. It was beautiful. It was a perfect
day. Jenny Cable was willing to watch Daniel while
Dennis and I went inside. He did very well. At least
until the end. If you look at the group pictures
next to the stairs had plants next to them in the
garden. Jenny was able to keep Daniel off the sides
in fear that he would fall off. Well, as we came out we
could hear Daniel crying. Come to find out he just did
what Jenny fear. He walked right off. The poor kid
had scratches all over. I thought it was too funny. Of
course it would be our child. We sure love the excitement
he brings into our lives.

The handsome couple.
They did a wonderful job decorating.
Daniel was so tired but refused to fall asleep.
He was a handful.
He loves grandpa.

10 23 2009 BB Gun

So we headed up to Dennis' moms because Steven
Cable was getting married. Alan (Dennis' brother)
took his BB gun. The boys went out to play
except for Daniel. I went out to talk to Dennis and
Daniel just watched. He wanted a turn. So Dennis
gave him one. I'm not a big fan of guns but I thought
this was a cute picture.

Another funny story that happened on this day was
I had Daniel in Mom C. backyard. It usually keeps him
out of trouble. But not today. Daniel came very excited
saying "Mama rocks. Rocks." He had two big handfuls of
old dried dog poop. So disgusting. I quickly had him drop
them on the grass and went and cleaned him up. I thought
later it would be funny if I had taken pictures but I really
didn't want him to repeat this activity. We had a talk about
them not being rocks. I thought it was so gross but very
funny. Boys will be Boys.

10 14-19 2009 Disneyland

Aunt Lori and Alicia were headed off to pick up
a seizure dog around Disneyland and invited me,
Daniel and Grandma along for the ride. It was great.
Aunt Lori would take Daniel in the morning while
me and Grandma took our sweet time to start our
day. There was no rush. It was great
At 9:25pm we could see the fireworks from our
hotel. It was great. Daniel was naming the colors.
10-14-2009
We also went to the Halloween Part. That was
fun. Daniel did not want his Halloween costume
on at all. I eventually took off the Yoda head but
made him keep the rest on. The parade was pretty
neat. It was a dance party. They pulled kids up to
dance. It was short but cute. Daniel really didn't
care because he had his eye on the balloons. Grandma
gave in. Daniel was happy the rest of the night. Daniel
didn't really get the whole trick or treating thing. I guess
we have two weeks to work on that.
10-15-2009

I just loved the scarecrows. They were funny.

The dance party parade.

Daniel warmed up pretty quick to everyone. He
loves being read to.

10-16-2009
This day we hit up Disney California. It was soooo
hot. Daniel just loved the water area. It always
surprises me when Daniel will go up to the characters.
I guess he feels like he already know them.
We also went and watch the play Aladdin. I just love
it. Daniel was a little antsy because he needed to sleep.
But he loved the big elephant.

10-17-2009
We hit up Disneyland on the last day. Grandma really
wanted to go on Its A Small World. Dennis had met up
with us last night and suffered through it. He even got
Grandma to go on Pirates. She really doesn't like the dips.
It was a blast and we are very grateful we were invited
to go along. I miss time spent with Grandma alone. And I
do miss Stockton.

10 10 2009 Legoland

Dennis received free tickets to Legoland from work
so off to pick up Grandma and then to Legoland.
Daniel loved the aquarium. I thought it was funny
when we were at the touching pool he was a little
nervous and he would put his fingers in the water
then quickly pull them back. He did this so quick he
almost fell off his stepping stool. Too funny.

Daniel's favorite part of Legoland was a kids roller
coaster ride. I can't remember what it was called but
Daniel called it the Dino Train. It was his first
roller coaster ride. You really couldn't tell if he
really liked it except when he got off he asked for
more.
We also enjoyed the boats. I did like how Legoland
puts areas along the side of the lines for the kids to
play in.
The cities were pretty neat. Its amazing what some
people with a lot of time on their hands can do with
legos. It was a bit long for Daniel. It was fun though
but I think Daniel still needs to be a little older for
more of the rides to have a blast.

10 18 2009 Mickey Mouse

We got a wonderful surprise package from
Nana and Gramps. In it was this Mickey Mouse
Clubhouse Jacket. Daniel just loves it. He calls
it his Mouse Shirt. He had to put it on right
away. Thanks Mom!! We did need a jacket for the
winter.

10 05 2009 Happy Halloween

Yeah!! Its October. Time for Halloween Decorations.
We put our out today. Its not much but it will do. I
have other stuff but I don't know if they will get out but
for now this is good.

10 04 2009 Grandma Musser's Tacos

This is for you Grandma. So Grandma's tacos
are not your typical re-fried beans and hamburger
meat. They are pork and beans and chili brick.
Daniel has not had them before and he dug it.
He is on his second taco in this picture. He even
didn't make that big of a mess.
We miss Stockton.
