This is what we do on our walk.

We sit and play in a little area, we look for

planes and helicopters, pick up pine cones.

Daniel's new thing is to walk on the curb

and try to balance. Then we end up at

the playground. I know the pictures

are small but I used my phone camera.

09 26 2009 Ultimate Frisbee

Once a month a group gets together to play

Ultimate Frisbee. I hadn't hear of it until recently.

This was the first time Daniel and I went to watch.

They have a playground right there. So here is a picture

of Dennis in action. (Dennis' team did lose all 3 games).

Daniel was very fascinated with this huge tree.

So we went to the zoo again. Our favorite place.

When we went to see the tigers. It's fun when they

are up close. Notice the tail off to the left. It saw

Daniel enjoying the other tiger. Walked straight over

to Daniel and went to the other tiger. It looked like

it was thinking, "he looks like a good size meal." Daniel

loved the whole thing.

Lets Play

We love having family come and visit.

We had Alan and Amie's fam in town this week.

What fun we had. We started at the Wild Animal Park.

It was quite toasty but fun. Then the next two days we

hit the beach.

This was the last day. The big boys wanted to

relive their childhood and went and got boogie boards.

All the boys had a blast. Daniel was a little unsure.

He rather stay on solid ground.

This was the first day at Mission beach. The waves

were pretty good. All the adults got a little burnt

while all the kids were fine.

I thought it was funny that a fishing boat came so

close to shore.

We started Alan and Amie's visit at the Wild Animal

Park. Crazy. It was hot again. The kids favorite part

was Dino Mountain. Daniel just loved it from the start.

Cadie was a little concerned but had a blast by the end.

The older boys loved it as well and they all wanted

to go through it again.

Daniel was in control of moving this dinosaur. He did

not want to leave.

Daniel loved stamping his Dinosaur Passport.

There was a stamp for each of the dinosaurs we

saw.

While Alan's fam was on the Journey to Africa,

we stayed cool in the little water park. Daniel

was a little unsure at first. There was a big group

of kids. But when most of them left he relaxed and

had a blast. This was the first time we played in

this area.

We love to feed the ducks. But I think it has more

to do with the catfish that want to eat as well,

they all have scars from the ducks.

I Think He's Got It

So we have been potty training for a few

months and I think he has finally got it. We

have had a poopy accident maybe once a week

but for the most part he's got it down. YEAH!!

I'm not sure why he got it. We tried just about

everything: movies in the bathroom, playing

in the bathroom, Crusher pooping, white underwear

vs fun underwear, and a few others but something

clicked. Yeah.

Now if we only could get him to go to nursery on

his own. One thing at a time I guess.

08 28 2009 Wild Animal Park

Call us crazy but we headed out to the Wild

Animal Park on one of the hottest days in San

Diego. Yes, I mean hot. Where the Wild Animal

Park is it was over 100 degrees. I've been spoiled

by the 70's around the coast. We bought Daniel

this hat and he actually wore it. It was quite a

good surprise. But we did enjoy the day.

08 25 2009 Water Fun

Waiting for Dennis to get home we decided

to play in the water. Daniel loved it and he thought

it was even better when I added bubbles.
