Baby Blankets

So here we go!! I have been crocheting baby

blankets for several years now for friends and

family. I find it soothing and its something

I can do around Daniel. We are selling them now.

07 21 2009 Lets Take a Ride

Nana had this great bike. It was the perfect size

for Daniel. She let us take it home and Daniel just

loves it. He doesn't quite have the pedaling down

but he will get there. There were a couple of cars

that passed that just laughed as I was trying to get

Daniels feet to do the work. Dennis even tried showing

Daniel on his bike but no such luck. We will get there

soon I'm sure.

07 16 2009 Say Cheese

We have a camera that is a little temperamental

so we don't use it very often. So I gave it to Daniel

to play with. He loves it. He holds the camera

to his face and say "Cheese". He has gotten a couple

of decent pictures but we will have to work on his

fingers getting out of the way.

So, Aunt Lori, Heather, and Alicia came to visit
for a week. We started out by hitting up the zoo.
We love the zoo but I don't think Heather and Alicia
were that excited. Later that day the three of them
got their hair cut. They looked good.

07 09 2009

So the 9th was our 5 year anniversary. We didn't
celebrated it yesterday because Dennis had class.
So on the 10th Aunt Lori and the girls volunteered to
watch Daniel for us. So we made dinner, took it to
La Jolla Shores to watch the sunset. It was so nice for it
to be just Dennis and I. We enjoyed our time and
being able to talk about the past, present and future plans.
After sunset we waited until Sea World had their fireworks and
found a parking lot to watch them in. It was a wonderful
night. I love Dennis so much!!

Everyone wanted to hit the beach so we pack up our
lunch and went to La Jolla Shores. We had a blast. Dennis
taught Daniel to say Big Wave. I'm glad Dennis had someone
to hang out with in the water because I usually only get my
feet wet.

07 11 2009

Later that evening Wayne, Karen, and kids stopped
by and had dinner. It was fun to watch Daniel with
the kids. Genevieve ended up feeding Daniel. I thought
that was too cute.
I thought that everyone needed to see the sunset at
the beach so after dinner we headed to Mission Beach.
I love seeing the sunset. It was beautiful. I also love
having other people around to chase Daniel. Thanks
Alicia. We played catch, went for a walk, and collected
sea shells. We had a blast.

Their last day visiting we all headed to the happiest
place on earth. I just love Disneyland. I love it even
more when Aunt Lori says that she will watch Daniel so
we could ride the rides. We had such a fun day. Aunt Lori
won VIP seating for the electrical parade. Daniel loved all
the lights. His favorite float was the train of course.
What fun!!

07 08 2009 Big Boy Undies

So Mom and Dad went home and Aunt Lori was
coming today but in the mean time I thought I
would put big boy underwear on Daniel just to see
what would happen. Not a sucess. But what I thought
was funny is he found his Lighting McQueen pull ups
and tried to put them on. This is what it looked like. I
left them on until it was time for him to use the potty
again. But I just thought it was too funny.

07 06-07 2009 Disneyland

Mom and Dad drove Daniel and I home with some
extra goodies for the house. Thanks.
I thought these picts were cute. Daniel is in my Dads
boots. He thought they were great. He even tried
walking in them. He didn't get too far.

07 05 2009

For Mom's birthday Dad told her he would take
her to Disneyland. It was so much fun. We didn't
ride a lot of rides but there was plenty to do. Daniel
had a blast. We even stayed to watch the fireworks. This
was Daniels first time watching them up close. He love
them. We also saw Fantasmic which scared him a little.
But it was a fun day.

We had lunch at the Celebration Round Up BBQ.
It was so much fun. Woody, Jesse and Bullseye
wandered around the dining area. Daniel was in heaven.
I could not believe he gave him a hug. I thought he would
be afraid of all the characters but he wasn't. Mom even
got a Celegram. It was a blast.

Daniels favorite ride I think was the train. We rode
all around the first time (25min ride) just so we
could get him to sit behind the engineers. so we
were on the train for 50mins. Daniel did pretty good
sitting that long and it was well worth it. The engineer and
the fire man were so nice.

This was another one of Daniels favorite spots.
Its by the Bugs Life area. Daniel loved all the water
and a few rides just for small kids. We spent a good
while there. The other favorite spot was the Brother
Bear area. Another place we spent a while at.

07 01 2009 Ports Game

After Utah me and mom drove to Stockton. Our
12hr trip was only 11 because Daniel was so good.
While in Stockton Aunt Lori gave me a ticket to enjoy
a Ports game with Pop. It was fun. Daniel was just
a little busy bee. He ended up flirting with the girl
down the way. It was fun. Thanks Aunt Lori.

06 24-29 2009 Utah

We had a wonderful week visiting Josh and Suzi.
I loved watching the kids playing.

We started our week by going to Kangaroo Zoo.
Daniel loved it. He had a blast. He did get tired
climbing the stairs but he just wanted to keep going.

07 25 2009

The next day we headed to the Discovery Museum.
It was a fun place. They had lots for kids to do. Daniels
favorite was the water area and the air ball area. The
pretending stuff was a little over his head and he was not
a fan of being on the horse.

We were going to go back to the Discovery Museum
that afternoon but instead we went to the park. Grace
rode her bike and Daniel found a couple of broken light
sabers. He had a blast. I love it when someone else,
like Nana, is around to push Daniel on the swing.

So we went out shopping today. Not one of Daniels
favorite things but we saw some underwear that he
just fell in love with. They were Thomas the Train.
I was not going to buy them so Nana did. He brought them
to me to open so I did. Of course I put them on his head
which he did not like and sent him to Nana. He came back
to me wearing all three pair. Too funny. The problem is
now he wants them on his head.

Daniel and Grace enjoyed looking at the fish.
Grace ended up with a couple of them.

That night Josh and Suzi treated me and mom to
watch the play Hello Dolly. I love that show. It
was quite entertaining. It was the first time that
Daniel was left with someone he did not know.
I'm told he did all right.

The next afternoon we headed to Temple Square.
It was a hot beautiful day. The kids kept running to
the water. Daniel also found some dirt. We had fun.

Next it was off the Wheelers Farm. It was a hot
day so it was a bit stinky. We were going to milk a cow
but Daniel's attention span did not last long and Grace
didn't want to get close to the stinky cow. But it was
fun. Daniel loved all the animals.

After getting dinner at the mall we headed over to
Uncle Josh's work. I think this was Daniel's most
favorite part of the week. Daniel just loves tractors
and to be up and close to one he was in heaven. We got
to sit in the Bobcat. Daniel was unsure at first so I had
to get in with him but he wanted back in when we got out.
Daniel just loved it and yes he couldn't be around tractors
without getting grease on his hands. He is all boy.Thanks Josh and Suzi for letting us come. We had
a blast and can't wait until next year.

So we have been so busy. Daniel and I have been out
of town and then we have had some visitors. So I have
a lot to post. Hopefully they will be coming soon.
