08 26 2008 A Ball

Notice the mostly clean apartment. That's because Daniel just got up from his nap. He woke up very happy. Daniel found this little basketball and started throwing it. I thought it was funny the amount of effort it took to throw. He is also easily distracted. Daniel does wave and blow kisses but he would not cooperate today.

08 25 2008 Boxes

I don't know why but Daniel loves to crawl inside boxes. He will just lay in there playing inside the box. I thought it was funny.

Family Week

So last week was Dennis' last week before starting school, so we decided to try and do something almost everyday. So on the 18th we went to the zoo and then headed to Dennis' Mom's house. We came home on Tuesday. Wednesday, we did nothing. Thursday we went to the Wild Animal Park. Friday we went to La Jolla Shores Beach. Saturday we went to the park, we also had to write talks. We had a wonderful time. We are sad that he is back in school but we will deal with it. Daniel doesn't like to see him leave.

Daniel loved chasing after the birds. He also loved the water. Dennis would lift him up when the waves came and then Daniel would continue going further in the ocean. If you are wondering what he doing licking his arm it is because he is licking the sand. It is gross but oh well.

Wild Animal Park

Daniel loved chasing the ducks. He also liked feeding the ducks. Dennis also likes the feeding the ducks because there are some big catfish that come up. They have scars from the ducks. I tried to take a picture in the bottom right corner. In the bottom left Dennis is comparing himself to a gorilla.

08 18 2008 San Diego Zoo

This is Dennis' last week of summer break and then it is back to school. So we are trying to do some fun things before then. We started with the San Diego Zoo. We love this place. Daniel is more fun to watch now that he sees and points to the animals. But his favorite is still the ducks and the fish, the fish are in the hippos exhibit.

This is what Daniel does to keep him occupied on the 2hr trips to Grandma and Grandpa's.

This is the first time Daniel had made this sound. I think he sounds like a monkey (which was the first things we saw at the zoo) and Dennis thinks he is trying to sound like a bird because we were in the aviary (the place with all the birds). But it doesn't matter. Its still cute.

Daniel loves his dinosaur Crusher. I just thought it was
cute because his PJs had a dinosaur on them.

08 16 2008 Ward Picnic

We had a Ward Get Up and Move Day at Crown Point. Everyone was to bring something they love to do outside. People brought bikes, volleyball net, and other stuff and then we were meeting up for lunch. It was fun. Dennis and I played catch. I was sore the next day. My body says not to exercise. The guy in the right middle picture became Daniel's new friend when he opened his bag for Daniel to go through.

Daniel kept bringing me he pj shorts, so I stuck them on his head. I thought it was really cute beause he was peeking out of the leg of the shorts. He also tried picking up the boat and walking with it. That didn't work to well.

08 09 2008 Piano

Daniel loves to play the piano. I love that there is volume control. He has started to dance when he plays. I think its cute.
